your inspiration?
Everything about JVP - my batchmates, the communities I served, fellow volunteers, our mentors. They push me to be a better person, to always be grounded on specific values. They constantly remind me to love, love, and love. Kung di na kayang intindihin, mahalin. Sounds cheesy hehe. Basta everything that happened and everyone I met thru JVP inspire me. :)

Maybe being too lazy to hone my talents, feeling ko tuloy half-baked lahat. I could have worked on excelling in at least one field. Mahirap yung jack-of-all-trades na walang specific expertise. Sana nag-workshop ako ng kung anu-ano nung bata pa. Haha.

Financial: having a stable job, which I enjoy doing.
Personal: being able to give my future family a better life than (or at the very least as good as) what I experienced.

Someone FAITHFUL. Someone mature and ready to commit to me and my future kids. Someone thoughtful. Someone financially stable enough to provide for our family. And most of all, someone I can talk to about anything, and share my hopes, visions, and life goals with.

are you brand conscious? :) why or why not?
No, I’m not. Lucky for girls, a lot of nice non-branded clothes are available. Nanghihinayang kasi ako to buy 1 piece of clothing for, say more than Php2k, thinking I could have bought more with the same amount in other stores. Though may rare moments rin naman na I go for branded ones, but it’s never a requirement when I shop.

Why'd you decide to volunteer? How has it changed...
These questions deserve a long blog entry. Hehe. But to keep it brief, I wanted to experience full-time development work, while immersed in the community I’m working for/with. I learned so much from that one year than all of my HS and college years combined. Haha I’m exaggerating, but you get the drift. What is your most striking childhood memory?
Playing street games all day! Patintero, langit lupa, chato, piko, chinese garter, base to base, etc. I feel sad for children nowadays who don’t get to experience those games. Mas masaya yun kaysa PSP at DS!
